ADHDA Will Take Over the Second Saturday Art Walks

Fri, Dec 03, 2010

As of January 2011, the Astoria Downtown Historic District Association (ADHDA) will take over the production of the 2nd Saturday Art Walks in Downtown Astoria. This year round event occurs on the second Saturday of every month in which participating businesses keep their doors open late, provide refreshments and entertainment, and exhibit original works of art and/or craft. For the past few years, this event has been organized by Astoria FOG; a group of individuals and businesses that work to promote the arts and crafts industry in Astoria.

It is very fitting that the 2nd Saturday Art Walk resides within ADHDA. The event brings hundreds of people to downtown Astoria each month and promotes our local businesses.

For questions, contact Downtown Coordinator Blaire Buergler at 503.791.7940 or blaire@astoriadowntown.com.
