First Astoria Cash Mobbing Slated for May 12

Wed, May 09, 2012

The Astoria Downtown Historic District Association's (ADHDA’s) first Monthly Cash Mob will be on Saturday, May 12 from 4:45 to 5 pm.

A cash mob is a group of people who assemble at a local business and buy items from that business. The purpose is to support the local businesses and the overall community.

The May Cash Mob target has been chosen by drawing a business card from among the cards collected at the May 4 ADHDA meeting. This will be a fun event just prior to the Downtown Astoria Second Saturday Art Walk. We will meet at 4:45 pm at Heritage Square. The name of the target will be disclosed and then we will walk to it for a quick shopping spree. Come and support your Downtown!
