ADHDA Hosts Pacific Northwest Brew Cup Sept. 25-27, 2015

– Expanded Events Elevate Growing Beer Festival to Higher Caliber –

Share your love of suds at the 14th annual Pacific Northwest Brew Cup, Sept. 25-27, 2015. We are bringing back the Brewer’s Reception and Brewer’s Breakfast again this year, offering the chance to buddy up with beer makers and geek out on IBUs and hop varietals. Located on Astoria’s scenic waterfront overlooking the Columbia River, the North Coast’s hoppiest festival will feature over 40 Northwest beers and ciders- watch who will fight it out to become the first keg to blow in the "Thar She Blows" contest! With the music as varied as the beer and local food vendors who will delight your palate and fill your belly, there’s something for everyone.

The event opens Friday, September 25 at noon and continues through Sunday, September 27, closing at 4pm. Entrance to the PNW Brew Cup is free and open to all ages. 2015 souvenir tasting glasses ($9) and tokens ($1) are required to sample any of the great beers and ciders. Don’t forget to participate in the "People’s Choice" award and help your favorite beer win a great trophy from Fernhill Glass; the winner will be announced Saturday night.

Brew Cup swag is available at entry as well as chances to play the "Business Crawl Passport," and be entered to win great prizes donated by Astoria’s downtown merchants. A special area for kids, both big and small, provided by Purple Cow Toys, will keep the children happy. And don’t forget, it’s time to get that growler filled on "Growler Fill Sunday" - $10 for a ½ gallon – so fill up, you deserve it!
