In 2018, ADHDA undertook a parking survey to update the last study done in 2013 to uphold standards suggested within the transportation industry. We hired a contractor to repeat the previous methodology and also conduct several surveys. The parking occupancy count was conducted by several volunteers and staff on 'a sunny Friday in July' as had been done in the previous two assessments.
Findings show healthy usage, with parking regularly available within 2-4 blocks of destinations during peak hours. This was mirrored in on-street and online surveys.
