The Astoria Downtown Historic District Association (ADHDA) would like to thank all of the 40 plus volunteers that came out last Sunday, April 22 for our annual Downtown Clean-Up. Along with various downtown merchants and local residents, we had volunteers from the Astoria High School Key Club and the US Coast Guard. Due to an amazing turnout we were able to touch every block in the downtown area – that’s 36 total blocks! An additional thank you goes out to the local Boy Scouts for picking up trash along the Riverwalk and the numerous businesses that donated supplies for the event. It was great to see so many community members out celebrating Earth Day.
