Merchants Make a strong first impression
ADHDA presented the first of its new merchant-focused series of short NEDTalks—Novel Efforts Downtown—with Window Shopping: Singing Storefronts on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014.
We can easily get too comfortable with our “2nd home”—our storefronts. Take a Window Shopping walking tour with moderator Blue Anderson from the Columbia River Maritime Museum Store to see how you can make a storefront sing and make a strong first impression season by season.
Anderson identified five downtown businesses that use both simple and advanced merchandising skills to consistently tell a story of what their business is about. Get ideas of what you might do to make your “silent salesperson” sing, no matter what size window and entryway your business may have.
